The aim of the footballers and Allied Workers Union of Zambia (FAWUZ ) is to protect ,improve and negotiate the conditions, rights and status of players and allied workers union.The  Union’s objectives are as follows:

 

HEALTH

• Football Players’ medical insurance :both active and retired players

 

EDUCATION

• Short and long-term education programmes for players including HIV and Aids education

 

LEGAL

• Players’ contracts

• Relationships with Agents

• Protection of Minors through monitoring the trafficking of under age footballers

• Fight against  any form of prejudice in the game including tribalism, racism and xenophobia

• Maintaining constructive dialogue with clubs in ensuring that Player and Club relationships are cordial and for mutual benefit.

OTHER

• Promotion  of  Youth and Women football

• Work hand in hand with the Football Association of Zambia  for the promotion of the Standard football in Zambia by ensuring among other things that players are motivated and disciplined
